San Pasqual was a simple monk, born in the Kingdom of Aragon, in what is now Spain. Assigned duties in the monastery’s kitchen and devoted to feeding the poor, he became known as the Patron Saint of Cooks. He died on May 17, 1592, which is celebrated as his feast day in Spain and in the Americas.
Let's celebrate together in the Barrel Room! Bring in food from the Farmer's Market or take out from a local restaurant and enjoy $5 off a bottle of wine.
